Dani Kellogg - Product Marketing Leader for Technical B2B SaaS
</aside>
I see you’ve made it this far, excellent, all according to plan. Regardless of how you ended up here, welcome!
I’m Dani Kellogg, I've worked in the startup/tech space for over a decade, with a core focus on product marketing with AI, data, and B2B software startups. I’ve worked with teams both starting from scratch, rebooting marketing functions, or rebranding and refreshing messaging in an anticipation for IPO. Wherever I can make the most impact is where I want to be, whether it’s strategizing the big picture with the C-Suite, or rolling up my sleeves in the trenches building a sales deck.
Here's what I've learned: crafting your story is key. You can build the most sophisticated marketing infrastructure in the world, but if you're telling the wrong story, none of it matters. There's an art and a science to marketing, and I love crafting the art. Finding that perfect message that makes someone stop scrolling and think "wait, this is exactly what I need" is what gets me up in the morning.
But knowing your story is just the beginning. Once you nail it, that narrative has to flow seamlessly into everything: product strategy, content, sales conversations, campaigns. But don’t get complacent, keep learning and iterating as your product and the market grow. That's how you bring it to life and make it actually drive results.
Currently I run ProductColab, helping early-stage companies find their voice and build marketing functions from scratch. I love this work, but I find myself missing something: going deep with a team and immersing myself in a single product and brand. Which is why I’m exploring new opportunities with teams to collaborate with and grow alongside. I'm particularly drawn to AI, data, and infrastructure companies, where getting the story right can be the difference between breaking through or getting lost in the noise.
Outside of work, I live in Seattle with my wife and three kids, who keep me grounded. I can often be found exploring the PNW, playing Minecraft with my sons who say I’m a “newb”, blowing bubbles with my daughter, or exploring some hobby from building a home server to being a questionable gardener.
